VIDEO: Bear's Got An Itch Only This Tree Branch Can Scratch

Sometimes you've got an itch that just won't be denied. It doesn't matter if it's in a rude place, or if you're in polite society, or if you're stuck up a tree, and a bunch of tourists are filming - you simply must scratch that itch. 

Well, that's what this Sperryville, Virginia black bear did anyway. He scratched his itchin' tuckus with no sense of shame whatsoever, just bouncing up and down on that tree branch like some kind of giant, obscene bird.

The video was filmed just two days ago by a couple who were driving when they noticed the big bear in the tree. They pulled over to get a shot of it when it started to scratching himself against the tree. You can hear the woman laughing as she films. 

At some point, midway through the video, there is an edit, and the video advances in time. Now we see a Search and Rescue jeep parked next to the tree; it seems like the bear might have gotten up a little higher than it should have and can't get down. Either that, or it has discovered that that particular branch is the best branch he's ever itched himself with and doesn't want to come down. Either way, the search and rescue guy seems to be a necessity. 

The video stops before we see the bear get "rescued", but not before we've seen him satisfy his itch. And thank goodness for that.
