VIDEO: Game Camera Captures Elk Battling, Deer Getting Out Of The Way!

You ever go to a bar or a concert or something like that and find yourself in the vicinity of a fight that doesn't have anything to do with you?  Then you have a choice: join in the brawl, like an old John Wayne movie, try to break it up, or just go ahead and get out of the way. 

The deer at the very beginning of this video chooses the third option.  Not wanting to have anything to do with a couple of battling bulls, it bounds away between the trees. 

Then our two combatants enter.  Two good-sized bulls that are probably rutting, and potentially clashing over a nearby female, or just because they're ornery. 

This was filmed in North Bend, Washington in November of 2020.  The folks who filmed the video had this to say: "A deer quickly runs away and you soon see why as two large elk square up and have a quick but intense battle. The sounds you hear are the cries of the elk while they are fighting."
