It turns out this is something of a tradition in Alaska, where folks will often leave their old jack-o-lanterns out for moose to eat. The guy who shot this video does so every year, and this time he was ready for the photo op.
Shooting from the (relative) safety of his porch, the man managed to get some great photo of Mom and Baby Moose sharing the delicious pumpkin.
Or, and we realize there's not a huge likelihood of this, but hear us out: what if they're not moose at all, but trick-or-treaters in very elaborate and realistic costumes?
