Man Dies Hiking Siyeah Pass Trail in Glacier National Park
A Wisconsin man and his family were hiking the Siyeh Pass Trail in Glacier National Park on Monday afternoon when he collapsed and died.
According to a National Park Service press release, park employees were dispatched and found the man unresponsive. The man's stepson and other hikers were already performing CPR. Rangers later attempted to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) to resuscitate the man, but were unsuccessful. The event happened about a mile from the trailhead at Siyeh Bend, approximately two miles east of Logan Pass on Going-to-the-Sun Road.
